Alpha Fire Protection was proud to support the Irish Association of Passive Fire Protection (IAPFP) by constructing new training walls at the association's training centre in Dublin, for the benefit of current and future trainees and course attendees.
As part of this contribution, our team supplied and installed a 30-minute leaf-and-a-half fire door with glazing, along with a Kemwell shaft wall system and self-supporting shaft wall ceiling. The setup also includes multiple service penetrations and interfaces, providing a comprehensive, hands-on training environment across a range of compliant systems and details.
This was something we were genuinely happy to do in support of the association and its ongoing work in training, education, and raising standards across passive fire protection in Ireland.
A comprehensive range of compliant fire protection systems and interfaces, designed to provide realistic training scenarios.
Leaf-and-a-half fire door with glazing, fully installed to provide trainees with a realistic door assembly to inspect and assess.
Full shaft wall system and self-supporting shaft wall ceiling, demonstrating compliant construction methods for vertical service shafts.
Service penetration seals installed across multiple interfaces, providing hands-on experience with industry-standard transit systems.
Hilti Endless Collars and CFS-SL GA Extended Speed Sleeves installed for pipe and cable penetration sealing demonstrations.
Fire damper and ductwork installation, enabling trainees to examine correct installation, inspection, and testing procedures.
Access hatches integrated into the wall systems, allowing trainees to learn correct positioning, installation, and compliance checks.
This was something we were genuinely happy to do in support of the association and its ongoing work in training, education, and raising standards across passive fire protection in Ireland. A big thank you to our team for delivering the work to a very high standard.
