At Alpha Fire Protection, we supply the Thermoguard Insulating Basecoat, a crucial element of a certified fire protection system. This basecoat is designed to deliver 30 or 60 minutes of fire resistance on plasterboard and cement board, subject to an on-site survey and the provision of an Alpha Fire Protection Specification. As part of a coloured intumescent paint system, it is ideal for use on interior plasterboard and cement board walls and ceilings. To achieve the required level of protection, it’s important to purchase and apply the product in the quantities recommended by Thermoguard for your specific application.
For achieving 30 or 60 minutes of fire resistance, as well as compliance with BS EN Class B s1 d0 and Class 0 standards on unpainted or soundly painted plasterboard or cement board, please contact Alpha Fire Protection for a tailored Thermoguard specification.
